Apple Bread
Ingredients:
2 cups flour 1 egg
½ teaspoon baking soda ½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon banking powder 2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons water
2 cups apples, peeled and chopped ½ cup applesauce
vegetable spray or oil
Directions:
- Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon together in a mixing bowl.
- Peel and chop apples.
- Beat eggs in large bowl; add sugar and oil to the eggs. Mix with a spoon until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients and apples to the egg mixture.
- Add applesauce and mix all ingredients until blended.
- Pour batter into lightly oiled loaf pan.
- Bake at 350º for one hour.
- Makes 12 servings.
