Apple Bread

Ingredients:

2 cups flour                                                 1 egg

½ teaspoon baking soda                                  ½ cup sugar

1 teaspoon banking powder                            2 tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon cinnamon                                      2 tablespoons water

2 cups apples, peeled and chopped                  ½ cup applesauce

vegetable spray or oil

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Peel and chop apples.
  3. Beat eggs in large bowl; add sugar and oil to the eggs.  Mix with a spoon until smooth.
  4. Add the dry ingredients and apples to the egg mixture.
  5. Add applesauce and mix all ingredients until blended.
  6. Pour batter into lightly oiled loaf pan.
  7. Bake at 350º for one hour.
  8. Makes 12 servings.
